Bastille Day La Vie Royale

La Vie Royale cabaret returns to Restaurant Hubert this Bastille Day, transforming The Theatre Royale into a decadent French fantasia of dinner, danger and spectacle. Inspired by the midnight salons of old Paris, La Vie invites guests into an evening of free-flowing wine and beautifully controlled chaos. Between courses, the room will come alive with song, surreal comedy, glamorous showgirls and vintage circus.

You will be welcomed by Porcelain Alice, whose razor wit and old-world charm have made her a cult figure of Sydney cabaret. The ultimate master of ceremonies, she swallows swords, eats fire and must be seen to be believed.

She is joined by chanteuse Lou P Scarlett, whose world of neo-burlesque glamour, live vocals and dreamlike theatricality has seen her perform from Sydney to New York.

Internationally celebrated Natalya Alessi also joins the cast with her signature blend of elegance and danger. Come see why she was crowned entertainer of the year 2019/2020.

Last but not least, the merry band of misfits is joined by clown and vaudeville mischief-maker George Le Couteur, co-founder of Beeswax and Bottlecaps, who brings absurdity and glorious nonsense amongst the glamour.

For one evening only, Bastille Day at Hubert becomes a riotous Parisian fever dream, a little seductive, a little dangerous, and entirely unforgettable.

Two tiers of tickets are available:

“Front Row Feast” front of stage, for the best seats in the house. These tickets are highly exclusive and reserved for those wishing to exist in the eye of the action, a fully immersive dining experience, with Hubert’s grand plats of charcuterie and cheese, a three-course banquet for an intermission indulgence and free-flowing wine for the duration of the event.

“Admission De Luxe” Theatre seats, privy to elevated view and grand plats of charcuterie, cheese and baguettes as well as free-flowing wine.
