Restaurant Hubert presents La Vie Royale: an intimate evening of live performance, free-flowing French wine and theatrical indulgence in the heritage Theatre Royale.

Inspired by the grand salons and smoky cabarets of another era, each performance unfolds as a delightfully unpredictable evening of music, comedy, glamour and impossible feats, accompanied by Hubert’s unmistakable hospitality.

Expect a cast of extraordinary performers drawn from the worlds of cabaret, circus, burlesque and live theatre. There may be soaring vocals, dazzling showgirls, razor-sharp wit, astonishing acts of danger, moments of absurdity and just enough beautiful chaos to remind you that the best nights are never entirely sensible.

Throughout the evening, wine is poured generously and passed amongst the room in the spirit of celebration, while an intermission feast from Restaurant Hubert’s kitchen offers an indulgent pause before the curtain rises once more.

No two evenings are ever quite the same. New performers, new surprises and new stories ensure that every edition of La Vie Royale is its own fleeting occasion; impossible to recreate and best enjoyed in good company.

Two tiers of tickets are available:

• “Front Row Feast” front of stage, for the best seats in the house. These tickets are highly exclusive and reserved for those wishing to exist in the eye of the action, a fully immersive dining experience, with Hubert’s grand plats of charcuterie and cheese, a French banquet for an intermission indulgence and free-flowing wine for the duration of the event.
• “Admission De Luxe” Theatre seats, privy to elevated view and grand plats of charcuterie, cheese and baguettes as well as free-flowing wine.

Settle in for a four-course feast, Taittinger on arrival and the big race live on screen, before the afternoon gives way to live jazz and the festivities continue into the evening.

The feast commences with a glass of Taittinger champagne and generous plateau de fruits der mer, followed by mushroom au poivre. For the main course, buttery Westholme Wagyu tenderloin with bordelaise sauce, kimchi gratin and bitter leaf salad. To finish, Crêpes Suzette with a burnt orange nad grand marnier sauce.

For the first time, Restaurant Hubert will be hosting Christmas day lunch.

Join us for an exclusive five-course festive feast, served with all the ceremony, hospitality and indulgence the day deserves.

The feast commences with a glass of Taittinger champagne, Kaviari Caviar and compte gougère before moving to a generous plateau de fruits de mer. For the third course, saint jacques et tartine de crevettes before arriving to the main course of fois gras with bacon and brioche stuffed roast chicken, duck fat potatoes and bitter leaf salad. For dessert, a decadent spiced cherry parfait with brandy cream.
