Alberto’s Lounge is a neighbourhood trattoria with a Roman heart and a Sydney soul. Tucked
behind a glowing neon sign, it’s intimate, familiar, and full of character. The menu roams across Italy, serving hand-cut pasta, crisp crostini, house-made gelato, and heart-warming mains made for sharing.
The bar celebrates all things Italian, classic cocktails with a twist, citrusy spritzes, bold Negronis, and an Amaro list, curated with reverence and treated as a work of art. Inside, the mood is warm and unpretentious. Vintage Italian posters spanning the 1950s to 1970s capture the essence of Italy’s golden era of cinema and design, a celebration of Italian style and creativity from plate to paintwork.
These evocative posters, combined with a black-and-white mural and bold monoprints by Allie Web set the scene. The tables are cosy, the lighting forgiving, and the wine list just long enough to get lost in.
